Wow, it's hard to believe that two years of planning, working, sailing, and more planning is finally coming to a close with tomorrow's start. We were able to check every last item off the to-do list and the boat is more ready than it has ever been.
We've been joined the last few days by several friends who came to wish us well. It's been fun seeing everyone, especially tonight on the 4th of July.
The weather doesn't look too bad, maybe we'll have to sail some extra miles to stay in the wind, but that's ok. Sailing is what we came for after all. We still hope to post updates from the water, so check in when you can.
