First roll call of the race has us ~2nd in mileage, but our South makes us look further back, banking on better breeze down here. First chute up at ~lunch, but then back down with a tear. Another one back up after, hopefully we'll be flying them the rest of the way...

Keep up the speed! 18 kts! I've got a bottle of Mt. Gay for the helmsman who hits top speed...
Get the tape and needle and thread out to fix that tear - you may need that sail...
Keith - top speed was Eric at 19.9 knots. John did his best to fix the first green sail, but not enough thread/tape...
