The next step for Orizaba is to complete the Swiftsure race (www.swiftsure.org) over Memorial Day weekend. Immediately following that, some of the race crew will be joined by friends Mike and Kate Farthing for the trip down the coast to San Francisco. We will test our communication equipment on that trip.

This site was originally setup to post communication to family and friends up to and during the 2006 Pacific Cup sailing race from San Francisco to Hawaii aboard Orizaba, a J/130 43' sailboat. The blog was also used by the return crew to post updates, and will continue to post what's going on with Orizaba.
